How to use the AI Prompt Generator

  1. Type your idea in a few words. It can be rough.
  2. Choose a style, or let the tool mix styles for you, and the shape of the image.
  3. Copy a prompt into the AI Image Generator and tweak the words until it looks right.

Why use an AI prompt generator?

Image generators do what you describe, not what you meant. A short idea like "coffee shop" leaves the model to guess the light, the angle, the colors and the mood, so results are random. A prompt generator fills in those details for you, so you get usable images faster and learn which words change the picture.

What each prompt includes

PartWhy it mattersExample
SubjectSpecific details make the image less generica barista pouring latte art, steam rising
SettingGives the scene context and depthsmall brick café, plants on the shelves
LightingSets the mood more than anything elsewarm pendant lights, rainy blue window light
Camera / framingControls how close and from whereclose-up at counter height, shallow depth of field
ColorsKeeps a consistent look across postsamber, cream and deep green
MoodTells the model the feelingcalm, cozy, unhurried

Each prompt is 40–70 words: long enough to steer the model, short enough that it doesn't ignore half of it.

Pick the right shape for where you post

ShapeBest for
1:1 squareInstagram feed, profile pictures, X posts
3:4 portraitInstagram feed posts that take up more screen
9:16 tallReels, Stories, TikTok and Shorts covers
16:9 wideYouTube thumbnails, banners and blog headers

The shape changes the composition the prompt asks for: a wide image needs space on the sides, a tall one needs the subject centered with room above and below.

How to improve a prompt in three tries

  1. Run the prompt as it is. Look at what is wrong, not what is right.
  2. Change one part only, such as the lighting or the camera angle, and run it again.
  3. Add one specific detail that makes it yours: your brand colors, a prop you use, the season.

Save your best prompts

When a prompt works, keep it as a template and swap only the subject. That is how creators keep a consistent style across a whole feed.

Styles explained

  • Realistic photo: product shots, lifestyle scenes, food and travel.
  • Cinematic: dramatic light and color, great for thumbnails and story posts.
  • Anime and illustration: characters, quotes and playful content.
  • 3D render: clean, modern visuals for tech, products and explainers.
  • Watercolor: soft, artistic posts, quotes and invitations.

What the generator won't include

Prompts never name real people, brands or copyrighted characters. Generating lookalikes of real people or other people's characters can break platform rules and copyright, so describe an original character instead.
