Where the trends come from
The list comes from Google Trends' daily trending searches: topics whose searches jumped in the selected country over the last day. Each trend shows the approximate number of searches and a recent headline, so you know why it is trending before you post about it. The list refreshes about every 30 minutes.
How to use a trend (the right way)
- Pick trends that fit your niche. A cooking creator can use a viral recipe or a festival; a tech creator can use a phone launch.
- Be fast. Search trends often peak within a day or two.
- Add something new: an explainer, your opinion, a tutorial or a reaction, not a copy of the news.
- Check facts in the linked news before you post, especially for sports scores and breaking news.
Be respectful
Some trends are about deaths, accidents or crimes. Skip those or keep them informative and kind; the idea generator never suggests jokes about tragedies.
